The clay-tiled roof had suffered extensive discolouration due to moisture, rain, and organic growth, turning its original terracotta colour into a green-black hue. Our team began with a controlled deep-clean using specialist equipment to safely remove moss, lichen, algae, and debris without damaging the tiles. Particular care was taken around skylights, vents, and roof details, and by the end of this stage the roof’s natural colour was already visibly returning.
Following the cleaning stage, an eco-friendly biocide treatment was applied to eliminate remaining spores and prevent future regrowth. To complete the restoration, a single coat of ProPERLA Clear Coat roof coating was professionally applied across the entire roof surface. This breathable, water-repellent coating forms a durable antifungal barrier that protects the tiles from moisture and discolouration while preserving the original terracotta colour for up to 10 years.
With the roof fully restored, our team turned their attention to the driveway to complete the home’s kerb appeal. Although structurally sound, years of use had left the surface faded and stained. The driveway was thoroughly pressure washed from the highest point downward, removing ingrained dirt, surface staining, and general build-up. This process restored a clean, uniform finish that perfectly complemented the rejuvenated roof and exterior.
